Details about five upcoming Xiaomi flagship smartphones leak, including the Xiaomi 12T Pro HyperCharge
Xiaomiui has discovered yet more unreleased Xiaomi smartphones, not just the upcoming CIVI Pro. According to the website, it has found the first traces of several future flagship smartphones that Xiaomi could release later this year. In the meantime, the company still has to launch the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X and Xiaomi 12 Pro globally, details about which we have reported separately.
According to Xiaomiui, it has unearthed the Xiaomi 12T series and two Redmi K50 Ultra-branded smartphones on IMEI databases. As the screenshot below shows, Xiaomi is at least testing the Xiaomi 12T as the 22071212AG. Meanwhile, the same website claims that the Xiaomi 12T Pro is the 22081212G, with the similarly named 22081212UG supposedly the Xiaomi 12T Pro HyperCharge.
For reference, Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge in India, with HyperCharge designating that the handset supports 120 W fast charging. Incidentally, the ‘G’ suffixes in these model numbers identifies them as global models.
By contrast, the 22071212AC and 22081212C are Chinese versions of the 22071212AG and 22081212G. Reputedly, these Chinese-only devices are the Redmi K50 Ultra and Redmi K50S Ultra, respectively. We doubt that any of these smartphones will launch before the autumn though, considering the Xiaomi 11T series’ release date last year. Additionally, Xiaomi has not announced most of the Redmi K50 series yet, although renders of the Redmi K50 and Redmi K50 Pro have leaked this week.
