Vivo's high-end sub-brand iQOO launched a flagship phone that flew past rivals such as the Xiaomi Mi 11 in terms of benchmarks shortly after its launch. Now, the brand has brushed its competition in China aside once again by being the first to offer places in a public beta-test for Android 12 to the 7's users.
Those who own the device and would like to test the upcoming major upgrade to its OS can do so by filling out an online form to apply to the program. It contains questions indicating that iQOO is looking for those with prior experience and expertise as testers.
Successful applicants may thus get an extremely early sneak preview of what is probably the latest version of OriginOS for the iQOO 7. It may or may not contain new features such as auto-hibernate, pan-UI auto-translate and scrolling screenshots.
Meanwhile, there is no word on similar opportunities for those with the international variant of this phone. The iQOO 7 Legend is only available in India at present, and goes for INR 43,990 (~US$600) at present via Amazon.in.
