Xiaomi releases new 25-inch gaming monitor internationally with 240 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium

Xiaomi has quietly started selling a new gaming monitor internationally. To recap, the company gave the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026 a wider international release in June. Shortly before that, it listed the Gaming Monitor G25i 2026 on its global website.
At the time, it was unclear when Xiaomi would officially release its 25-inch gaming monitor anywhere. Nonetheless, a Finnish retailer was already selling the monitor for around €180. Now, the Gaming Monitor G25i 2026 has received an official release in Japan and Thailand.
While the Gaming Monitor G25i 2026 is one of Xiaomi's smaller gaming monitors, it is significantly faster than something like the Gaming Monitor G27i (curr. $149 on Amazon). Specifically, the Gaming Monitor G25i 2026 delivers a 240 Hz refresh rate combined with 1 ms GtG response times. Also, it supports AMD FreeSync Premium to mitigate image tearing, as well as various other software features to enhance visuals when gaming.
It is worth noting that the Gaming Monitor G25i 2026 outputs at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels with 400 nits peak brightness and DisplayHDR 400 certification. While these are on the low side, the monitor covers 100% and 93% of the sRGB and DCI-P3 colour spaces, respectively.
Xiaomi has priced the Gaming Monitor G25i 2026 at JPY 17,980 (~$113) in Japan and at THB 4,990 (~$151) in Thailand. For reference, those prices include a power adapter, a stand and an HDMI 2.0 cable. 3.5 mm audio jack and DisplayPort 1.4 cables are missing though, despite Xiaomi including these connections on the monitor itself. Please see the company's website for more details.
