Apex Legends is currently down for thousands of players

If you're facing issues with Apex Legends today, you're not alone. Thousands of players are currently reporting problems with the game, with many unable to properly connect to the servers.

Reports started appearing on X a while ago, with players claiming they were suddenly kicked out of matches. After being disconnected, many are also unable to join a new game, as the servers fail to load properly.

The issue also appears to be affecting a large number of players, rather than being limited to a handful of users. Downdetector has recorded more than 1,500 reports in the past hour alone, suggesting that Apex Legends is experiencing a wider server problem.

At the moment, the developers have not explained what is causing the outage or provided any information about when the servers will be back to normal. The ApexLiveComms account on X, which is used to share information about bugs, outages, and other server-related issues, has also yet to provide an update.

For now, there's nothing you need to do on your end. If you're being kicked out of matches or can't connect to a new game, your best option is to wait for the developers to resolve it.
