Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra tipped for greatness ahead of launch
The Mi 10 Pro+ has been in the news for weeks, with Xiaomi has already confirmed the imminent launch of the phone a few days ago. The company, in a teaser, announced that the phone would launch on August 11th.
Xiaomi appears set to brand the Mi 10 Pro+ as the "Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition", but that's a handful, and there's a chance the phone will be simply called the Mi 10 Ultra. You may have seen that "Ultra" tag before; Xiaomi has never been the most original OEM out there anyway.
According to tipster Ice Universe, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra will "shock the world". That's high praise indeed, considering the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra was just launched. The Mi 10 Pro+, or Mi 10 Pro Super Cup, or Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition, or even yet the Mi 10 Ultra will have to match the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in most departments for it to deserve such hype.
Thankfully, information on the phone is incredibly positive. It's expected to offer a 120 Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, a new telephoto camera, and faster wireless and wired charging. The Mi 10 Pro is widely regarded as being the best smartphone for audio around, so the new phone will likely also inherit those qualities.
