CES 2022 | TCL's TVs go up to 98 inches in its latest CES showcase
TCL has come to CES 2022 to show off its award-winning X9-series flagship and more. The X925 PRO has been developed to pack the OEM's latest mini-LED tech at an 8K resolution into a chassis less than 10 millimeters (mm) thick.
This impressive Google TV-based device is joined by an even larger one at the Las Vegas show: the Class XL flagship, set at a recommended price of US$8,000. This 98-inch TV is 4K, supports Dolby Vision HDR, and owes its color reproduction to QLED technology.
TCL has also announced that its next generation of big screens will improve in areas such as its maker's quantum-dot, Contrast Control Zone and/or mini-LED technology. The OEM has also unveiled a new partnership with Pixelworks to develop TrueCut Motion, a system of software aimed at enhancing high-speed or -energy-related footage, for the OEM's higher-end TVs.
