CES 2022 | Nebula Cosmos Laser 4K: Anker introduces a portable laser projector with a 4K resolution, 2,400 ANSI Lumens and a 150-inch image projection
Anker has presented a new projector at CES 2022 under its Nebula brand. Incidentally, the Nebula Cosmos Laser 4K is the brand's first laser projector and is, supposedly, the 'world's most compact 4K laser theatre'. Nebula has not confirmed the projector's dimensions yet, but its integrated handle implies that the Cosmos Laser 4K is portable.
Still, the Cosmos Laser 4K can output at 4K, as its name suggests. The projector supports HDR10 and utilises ALPD 3.0 technology to maximise efficiency. The Cosmos Laser 4K can also create up to 150-inch images with its 6,000 Lumen light source. However, the projector can only push 2,400 ANSI Lumens onto a surface. For reference, Anker has integrated Auto Keystone Correction and a Laser Forge Image Engine. The former works on horizontal and vertical planes.
Additionally, the projector comes with Android 10 pre-installed, giving it access to the Google Play Store for applications like Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. To that end, Anker has included 30 W speakers with AiFi, Dolby Audio and EQ support built-in. The Nebula Cosmos Laser 4K will be available from March 2022 for approximately US$3,000.
