Lenovo L5: 1080p projector launches with Android TV for US$199.99

The Lenovo L5 is an inexpensive projector that operates at up to 1080p. The projector is compact, has Android TV built-in and contains numerous ports for connecting external devices.

The Lenovo L5 is a new projector available at a relatively inexpensive price. Unsurprisingly, the projector does not get that bright, but it does output at 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). Hence, the L5 is only really suitable for use in a dark room.

Specifically, the projector peaks at 450 ANSI Lumens. It also supports keystone correction and can projector between 50-inch and 150-inch images, albeit with manual focusing. According to Lenovo, the 260 x 230 x 110 mm projector must be at least 1.7 metres away from the wall or surface onto which you want it to project.

The L5 comes with Android TV pre-installed and has dual-HDMI ports for connecting external devices. The projector supports wireless screencasting too and has an Ethernet jack for connecting it to a wired network. Incidentally, the L5 has built-in speakers, or a 3.55 mm jack for connecting external speakers.

The Lenovo L5 is available to order from AliExpress for US$199.99, Please note that import duties and taxes will probably apply if you order the projector from outside China.
