The Wemax Go will soon be available at a discounted price, bringing it below its Indiegogo launch price. The Wemax Go combines a 540p resolution with a 500:1 contrast ratio and 300 ANSI Lumens of peak brightness.

In December, Wemax revealed the Go, touted as the thinnest ALPD projector. As we discussed at the time, the Wemax Go started at US$349 for the 540p model, while the 1080p edition cost US$599. However, the 540p version will soon be available at a US$50 discount through AliExpress.

Noticed by the likes of Xiaomi Today, the discount will be available between February 21 and February 23 and will reduce the Wemax Go to US$299. According to the AliExpress listing, the discounted Wemax Go will ship from China or Russia with EU or US plugs. Apparently, import duties and customs are included in the discounted price, too.

To recap, the Wemax Go measures 150 x 83 x 25 mm and can create 100-inch images at 960 x 540 pixels. Additionally, Wemax claims that the projector has a 500:1 contrast ratio, which is about as impressive as its resolution. Moreover, the Wemax Go only achieves a paltry 300 ANSI Lumens, a low peak brightness value compared to many modern projectors.

The Wemax Go contains a USB Type-C port too for powering the projector from a portable power bank. Also, Wemax has included an HDMI port for connecting external devices.
