Steam Winter Sale 2024: Biggest sale of the year kicks off today with highly rated top games

Today marks the start of the Steam Winter Sale 2024 - the biggest discount event of the year. As well as new offers on popular games, you can also look forward to free digital goodies such as avatars and stickers. In another article, we already talked about the schedule for the Winter Sale and listed the suspected games that were revealed in a leaked promo video.

So if you're looking for a last-minute Christmas gift or just want to stock up your gaming library with some top titles, the Winter Sale is the place to be. The sale starts today on Steam's online store and features a number of highly acclaimed games with very high player ratings. These include, but are not limited to, the following games:

• Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (multiplayer) can be played for free for a total of 24 hours or purchased at a 25% discount for $52.49 with "mixed" player ratings
• Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 - Vault Edition at a 20% discount for $23.99
• Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 - Vault Edition Upgrade at a 20% discount for $23.99
• Dragon Age: The Veilguard at a 35% discount and the player rating "mostly positive" for $38.99
• Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Deluxe Edition at a 35% discount for $20.00
• Elden Ring at a 40% discount and the player rating "very positive" for $35.99
• Sons Of The Forest at a 50% discount and the player rating "very positive" for $14.99
• Final Fantasy XVI at a 25% discount and the player rating "very positive" for $37.49
• Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut at a 20% discount and the player rating "very positive" for $47.99
