Latest Epic Games Store free game giveaway goes live worth $25, but only for a short time
The Epic Games Store Holiday Sale will remain in place until January 9. Running alongside that is its Mystery Game, which it is now refreshing daily. Incidentally, each Mystery Game offering has been leaked ahead of schedule, details of which we have covered separately.
As expected, today's giveaway is Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles, which its developers describe as a 'DICE-deck-building roguelike'. Added to that, Astrea utilises a 'Purification vs Corruption' dual damage system that Little Leo Games sum up in the following terms:
Purification can be used to damage enemies or heal yourself. On the other hand, corruption can be used to damage yourself or heal the enemies. Pacify enemies through Purification, or Corrupt yourself to unleash abilities that help tip the scales.
As it stands, Astrea rates highly with both critics and fans on OpenCritic and Metacritic. Please note that today's game will only be available to claim until 15:59 UTC tomorrow directly on the Epic Games Store, after which it will be replaced with another title.
