Spider-Man 2 update brings new suits, Enhanced PSSR, and Power Saver mode

Insomniac Games, the studio behind Marvel's Spider-Man games and the upcoming Marvel's Wolverine, has released an update for Spider-Man 2. The new update brings two new suits as well as additional features for the PS5 version.
According to a post on X by the studio's official account, the new version 1.005.000 update for Spider-Man 2 brings two new suits for Peter Parker. The first is the Fresh Start suit from the upcoming movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day while the other is the suit from the upcoming game, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
The two suits are already unlocked and do not have any requirements, so you can switch to either of them once you update the game. The suits are not limited to the PS5 version of the game, as they are also available on PC once you update to version 2.727.0.0.
In addition to the new suits, the new update brings support for Enhanced PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) which uses AI to boost the game's resolution. The feature made its debut earlier this year with Resident Evil: Requiem.
Insomniac has also revealed that Spider-Man 2 now has support for Power Saver mode. The feature, which was announced last year and is available on a handful of games, reduces electricity usage by scaling back game performance.
To use the feature, players have to go to their console settings to activate Power Saver for games if they have not previously done so. And if they have, they still have to select Spider-Man 2 as one of the games to use Power Saver mode. Other PS5 games with support for Power Saver mode include God of War: Ragnarok and Ghost of Yotei.
