GTA 6 and Wolverine have something in common

As the internet waits impatiently for the new trailer for GTA 6, a common thread between the Rockstar game and the upcoming Wolverine game from Insomniac has been found. The information doesn’t really suggest any new update for either franchise, but it is still an interesting piece of trivia.

As uncovered by actor resumes under “actors access,” it turns out that the voice actor for Wolverine’s Sabretooth is also voicing a character in GTA 6. The actor in question is Brett Gipson, and the character is named ‘Ellis.’ It is a supporting role in GTA 6, presumably to Jason and Lucia, the protagonists. None of the character bios available on Rockstar’s website mentions Ellis, so he’s not as prominent a character as the rest, but the role is still big enough for the actor to have mentioned it in his resume.

Ellis could have been present in either or both of the trailers, but at this point, we don’t know what the character looks like in GTA 6. Hopefully, the new trailer, whenever it comes out, will shed more light on the supporting cast, and we’ll get to see what Ellis looks like.

Gipson’s role in the upcoming Wolverine game as Sabretooth isn’t as much of a mystery. The trailers show the character in full, and while Wolverine will not be going against Sabretooth in this version of the game, it would be interesting to see a more comic-inspired Sabretooth teaming up with Wolverine. Insomniac’s Wolverine releases September 15, while GTA 6 releases November 19. Pre-orders for both games are live.
