New Citizen x Spider-Man black ion-plated collab watch now available to buy in the US

Citizen's Spider-Man collaboration watch, which we previewed for a UK release earlier this month, is now officially available to buy in the US. The listing is titled "Spider-Man Swings". These are the same details we covered when the watch first surfaced: a 43 mm ion-plated stainless steel case, Citizen's Eco-Drive solar movement, and dial artwork with Spider-Man mid-swing against a city skyline.
The dial artwork comes from Adam Kubert, who's a longtime Marvel illustrator. The watch itself has been designed as Citizen's latest entry in a Marvel partnership that dates back to 2018. The design has the low-light effect we also talked about in the original announcement — an embossed, luminous web pattern that lights up in the dark. The caseback carries an engraved "THWIP" — the classic Spider-Man sound effect, alongside the Marvel copyright mark, and the watch ships with a matching collectible pin.
The watch is limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide, which means it is a genuine collector's release instead of a wide production run.
US Pricing comes at $525, which is much higher than the $250–$350 range we estimated (based on comparable Marvel Eco-Drive releases) at the time of the original announcement. Citizen has also chosen a date close to August 1 for the official release, which is being promoted as National Spider-Man Day. Orders placed on time are eligible for delivery as early as July 27.
