Snapdragon-branded Manchester United shirts make initial debut
MUFC shirts: made by Adidas, and now branded by Snapdragon. The latest iteration of this "iconic" soccer kit signature red field bears the familiar logo front and center in white.
The prominent placement underpins Qualcomm's status as an Official Global Partner of Manchester United, and goes well with the shirts' first outing as the MUFC mens' first team's kit during their upcoming US/Europe pre-season tour.
Conveniently enough for Qualcomm, that series includes a fixture against Real Betis at the Snapdragon Stadium - for the Snapdragon Cup, moreover - on 31 July 2024 in San Diego, California.
Accordingly, the OEM is confident that the partnership will bolster Snapdragon's brand recognition as the platform that powers 3 billion of the personal electronics worldwide, which of course now include X Plus- and Elite-powered laptops and 2-in-1 PCs as well as smartphones, tablets and wearables.
To that end, the new shirts' Snapdragon logos is intended to activate an augmented reality (AR) experience that unlocks "exclusive" MUFC content throughout the 2024/5 season: something to try out with a new pair of XREAL Air 2 glasses from Amazon, maybe.
