A new Shelly smart home control panel has arrived: the Wall Display X2i. It builds on the older Shelly Wall Display X2 (Black curr. €179.95 at Amazon DE), which was released earlier in 2025.
Like its predecessor, the Shelly Wall Display X2i has a 6.95-inch color touchscreen, which can be mounted to the wall horizontally or vertically. The 5-point capacity screen has a 1440 x 720 px resolution, which can be used to manage connected smart home devices. Users can also view power consumption for paired Shelly PM products. There is support for touchless interactions thanks to the built-in gesture sensor, and a LUX sensor can automatically adjust the display’s brightness.
The Shelly Wall Display X2i supports both Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6 dual-band connectivity, with the older Unisoc SC7731E Quad Core A7 1.3GHz CPU swapped out for the Rockchip RK3326-S Quad core Cortex-A35 1.5GHz. It has an interchangeable power base, with the included base featuring a single output for one-circuit control. Other features include a built-in 0.8W speaker and compatibility with the Shelly Smart Control App and Home Assistant.
You can buy the Shelly Wall Display X2i at the brand’s online store in Europe for €199.53. It is currently available in silver, with the black version of the product marked as out of stock. Whether or when this device could be released in other markets is unclear.
