Samsung has revealed some details about a new refrigerator powered by AI. The Bespoke AI refrigerator will be powered by Google’s Gemini AI model.

The South Korean manufacturer will display the premium kitchen appliance at its First Look event, before the Consumer Electronics Show in the US in January 2026.

The Bespoke AI refrigerator can identify different food items in its hold, thanks to an internal camera. It is the first home equipment to incorporate Gemini, allowing it to recognize more food products than older models.

Samsung will use Gemini to suggest recipes from the identified ingredients. The AI agent will also help owners draw up shopping lists to restock items.

Samsung also said Gemini will read bottle labels in its wine refrigerators and use the data to maintain an inventory list.

The electronics giant has been pushing AI-powered devices even before teaming up with Google. Samsung has shared that it will bring its latest AI-enabled home appliances to CES 2026. These include the Bespoke AI AirDresser, which can smooth out wrinkles quickly. The updated Bespoke AI Laundry Combo will offer shorter wash-to-dry cycles and improved drying performance.

The new WindFree Air Conditioner Pro Air Conditioner will direct air in multiple directions thanks to two additional blades. Lastly, the upgraded Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra robot vacuum will require even less human intervention during operation.
