Second-gen iPad Pro tipped to miss out on upcoming software upgrade
Apple's next major software upgrade for iPhones is believed to drop today (June 10, 2024): a potential source of trepidation for those with older handsets that nonetheless still run iOS 17.
Nevertheless, the Cupertino giant is now said to leave support in place for all of them, meaning that iOS 18 might be coming to the XR, XS and XS Max as well as the iPhone SE (so long as it is not the first-gen version).
They might be joined in eligibility for the latest software by devices of the iPhone 11, 12, 13 and 14 series as well as the most up-to-date 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max.
