According to industry insiders, Samsung has now finalised launch prices for the Galaxy S25 Edge, which it showcased in January during its last Galaxy Unpacked before bringing it to MWC 2025 in Barcelona. To recap, there were reports last week that Samsung would price the Galaxy S25 Edge for about as much as the Galaxy S25 Plus (curr. $899.99 on Amazon), which retails for $999.99 in the US.
According to FN News, the Galaxy S25 Edge will start at KRW 1,500,000 (~$1,030) with 256 GB of storage. By contrast, the cheapest Galaxy S25 Plus goes for KRW 1,272,000 (~$873) with the same amount of storage. Similarly, a 512 GB variant of the latter retails for KRW 1,406,000 (~$965), the Galaxy S25 Edge will come in at KRW 1,630,000 (~$1,119).
In other words, the Galaxy S25 Edge could cost anywhere between 16% and 18% more than Ice Universe previously suggested. As a result, the Edge may fall between the Plus and the Ultra in this year's Galaxy S series. Based on recent reports, the Galaxy S25 Edge will officially launch next month with a 5.85 mm thick housing. The device will drop to a 4,000 mAh battery and miss out on a telephoto camera altogether to achieve this new ultra-thin design.
