The results are pretty amazing, as user DoggoLord27 now probably has the biggest power bank available for an ROG Ally. Emphasis on "probably," because the r/ROGAlly subreddit has proven time and time again that the users here are determined to make their respective ROG Ally last the longest.
The original poster took a big battery from an electric bike, which normally puts out a high voltage (48 volts), and made a special adapter that turns this power into the kind that things like the ROG Ally gaming device can use through a regular USB port. This adapter makes sure the electricity coming from the bike battery is changed to the right amount that won’t damage the gaming device.
With this setup, one can use the huge battery to play games for as long as 24 hours without needing to plug into a wall. The OP mostly did this as a fun DIY project, showing it’s possible to use a large e-bike battery to keep gaming devices running much longer than with standard portable chargers.
