The Starlink Mini can be powered by a power bank, provided it has a minimum output of 100W. And while there are more than a handful of power banks that checks this box, the PeakDo LinkPower 1 stands out from the competition thanks to its design and features which make it a perfect fit for the Starlink Mini.

The Starlink Mini is the smallest version of the Starlink dishes. It is small enough to fit into a backpack, and setting it up is easy since it already has a built-in router. Although, the Starlink Mini doesn't have a built-in battery, it is more versatile than other Starlink dishes as it can be connected to a variety of power sources including a wall outlet, a 12V car battery, a cigarette lighter port, or a suitable power bank.

If you are on the search for a power bank, PeakDo has announced a power bank that is literally designed for the Starlink Mini. Called the LinkPower 1, the trapezoid-shaped power bank slots into the back of the Starlink Mini. With a 99Wh (27,500mAh) battery capacity, the Linkpower 1 can provide over 4 hours of use when connected to the Starlink Mini.

The LinkPower 1 attaches securely to the back of the Starlink Mini and then provides power to the dish via a short DC cable. The power bank also has a USB-C port in front that has a max power output of 65W, thus allowing it to charge high-power devices such as laptops. The USB-C port is a two-way port that has a max power input of 100W, so it can be used to quickly recharge the power bank.

There's also a power button on the left that can be used to turn on/off power output to the Starlink Mini. However, this button doesn't control the USB-C port which will continue to provide power to a connected smartphone or laptop.

According to PeakDo, the LinkPower 1 has an IPX4 water resistant rating but it also claims it is dustproof and can survive extreme temperatures (-20°C to 60°C). There's a display on the power bank, so users can monitor charging details, or alternatively use the companion app. It also has a 1/4-inch screw hole for attaching accessories such as a tripod.

The PeakDo LinkPower is available to buy now directly from the manufacturer for a discounted price of $119 (original price is $165). There's also a $39 heavy duty mount with suction cups for the Starlink Mini so it can be attached to the roof of a vehicle or boat. Purchasing the LinkPower 1 and mount together costs $149.
