With an powerful motor, a carbon frame, and a generous battery, the Along 01 is a new electric gravel bike designed to tackle steep climbs without running out of steam anytime soon.

Gravel bikes are essentially road bikes built for off-road terrain. The main difference lies in the tires, which are typically wider and feature a more aggressive tread pattern. Converting a standard road bike into an e-gravel bike requires adequate frame and fork clearance to accommodate these wider tires.

The Megamo Along 01 prioritizes performance over minimal weight. It features the Avinox M2S motor system, delivering up to 150 Nm of boost torque—exceeding the output of a VW Up powered by its 1.0-liter MPI engine. This ensures ample assistance on steep ascents. While lightweight e-road bikes often rely on smaller 250 Wh batteries, the Along 01 packs a 600 Wh battery for extended range.

Megamo pairs the carbon frame with a 13-speed SRAM Force XPLR AXS wireless drivetrain. While the total weight remains unannounced, the motor and battery alone account for over five kilograms. Up front, the standard rigid carbon fork can be swapped for a DT Swiss F132 One suspension fork with 40 mm of travel without altering the bike's geometry or riding position. The Megamo Along 01 carries a recommended retail price of €7,999. Megamo operates primarily in European markets.
