Up to 1,008 Wh and 130 Nm: New e-bike tackles off-road trails and daily commutes

Ecobike has introduced the RX 600 Max SUV, a new e-bike that is already available for pre-order. However, early buyers will need some patience, as deliveries for the 2027 model are currently estimated for April next year. While the manufacturer focuses primarily on the European market, its operations extend beyond Germany.
The RX 600 Max SUV blurs the line between a mountain bike and a daily commuter. It is essentially a full-suspension e-MTB outfitted with extensive utility equipment, including front and rear mudguards, a kickstand, and an MIK-compatible luggage rack. Integrated lighting is also on board, though the lack of a chain guard serves as a reminder of the bike's sporty origins.
For off-road capability, the e-bike features an air suspension fork and a rear shock, both supplied by SR Suntour. As is standard for modern mountain bikes, a dropper seatpost is included. The bike rolls on Maxxis Rekon tires and relies on Shimano MT401 hydraulic disc brakes for stopping power. Shifting is handled by a 10-speed Shimano Cues derailleur drivetrain.
At the core of the RX 600 Max SUV is a Bafang M430 mid-drive motor, which delivers a substantial 130 Nm of torque. Buyers can configure the bike with either a 900 Wh or a massive 1,008 Wh battery, promising ample range for longer excursions. The robust build brings the weight to at least 31.5 kilograms. The Ecobike RX 600 Max SUV is currently listed at €3,984.
