Vivo X500 Ultra's launch timeframe reiterated in new leak

The Vivo X500 series made its debut in September with the launch of three models. Alongside the standard Vivo X500, the Chinese brand also unveiled the Vivo X500 Pro and the Vivo X500 Pro Max. There's supposed to be an ultra model, and a reputable leaker has shared when it is scheduled for release.
According to Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X500 Ultra is planned for release in March or April 2027. The popular leaker also added that the Vivo flagship may be the only camera-centric “Ultra” flagship. This shouldn't be surprising news since Oppo has reportedly suspended the Find X10 Ultra. There's also the Xiaomi 18 Ultra, which is rumored to have been axed due to its cost, which would have been a significant increase from that of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra (available on Amazon.de for €1,239).
In the comments, Digital Chat Station also revealed that the Vivo X500 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. The other Vivo X500 models are powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9600 series.
This isn't the first time news of the Vivo X500 Ultra's launch timeline has surfaced. Prior to the leaker's post, Vivo's own VP of Product, Hung Tao, revealed in September that the Vivo X500 Ultra will launch in March or April of 2027, a year after the launch of the X300 Ultra. However, with Digital Chat Station's post, it means the release date hasn't changed yet.
