Razer announces its first DevCon, scheduled for live-streaming in May 2021
Razer has just announced that it has put together a brand new event to kick off in 2021. DevCon is, thus, somewhat like RazerCon, but directed at those interested or involved in game-making more than gameplay. Accordingly, it is open to all mobile, PC or console developers who are or are interested in the hardware, software or services arms of this industry.
The OEM intends to put on "over 4 hours" of talks or panels on these subjects that ideally leave attendees bang up to date on their subjects. They are scheduled to be hosted by "industry veterans" from Razer, and to feature guests such as iLLOGIKA's Game Producer Frank Rosay and Vibe Avenue Studios' Audio Artist Renaud Ostrowski.
Some panels will also cover specific topics, such as how to work monetization or incentivization with Razer Gold or Silver into one's projects; THX Spatial Audio implementation or how to use the Razer Chroma SDK, particularly in relation to cloud, streaming or online experiences.
Registrations for Razer DevCon 2021 are open now, which grant access to the event's live-stream on May 7, 2021 via the company's official Twitch channel. The OEM has announced that the first 1000 registered and verified developers to log on will receive a "special attendee’s pack" that is exclusive to this show.
