The new Kraken V4 Pro is backed to act as all headsets to all gamers with its support for audio via Bluetooth, USB-C or a 3.5mm jack as well as Razer's HyperSpeed Wireless 2.4GHz connection. It even has its own Control Hub with an OLED display to keep track of all its features, those of its in-built Sensa HD Haptics and retractable mic included.

The latest member of the Kraken series has been introduced as what might be its most complete headset yet at Razercon 2024.

The V4 Pro is touted to go far beyond sound delivered via 40mm drivers made of in-house TriForce Bio-Cellulose with added Razer Sensa HD Haptics rated to match the headset's audio input in terms of volume, intensity and directionality, thereby potentially adding an extra dimension of spatial awareness in-game.

The new feature can be controlled using the V4 Pro's Control Hub, which responds to its on-board dial using its own angled OLED display. The Hub is also rated to help change the headset's volume, EQ and power-saving settings.

It also allows the V4 Pro to manage its connections to up to 3 different devices at once, which is handy as the headset can use Razer HyperSpeed Wireless and Bluetooth as well as cables for either 3.5mm or USB-C ports.

The V4 Pro also comes with a retractable version of Razer's HyperClear Super Wideband Mic, for a potentially more convenient source of detailed vocal input.

However, getting this new "ultimate battlestation headset" on your desk will not come cheap, having just been unleashed for no less than $399.99 via Razer or Amazon.
