It seems that the launch of AMD Strix Halo APUs are right around the corner. While the Ryzen AI Max 390 and Ryzen AI Max+ 395 were showcased during CES 2025, various reviewers continue to insist that AMD has embargoed anyone publishing independent benchmark results.
According to @9550pro, the first Strix Halo reviews will land on February 18. It looks like the release of Strix Halo devices will follow soon after, too. Based on a recent Republic of Gamers (ROG) Weibo post, Asus will be hosting a ROG Flow Z13 (2025) launch event in China on February 25 at 11:00 UTC (19:00 CST), which replaces its Raptor Lake and Nvidia Ada Lovelace-powered predecessor (curr. $1,749.99 on Amazon).
Unfortunately, Asus has not yet provided any other details. Instead, the company has now confirmed details of all launch SKUs, which culminate in a $2,699.99 option that complements AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU with 128 GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 1 TB M.2 2230 SSD. In other words, the most powerful ROG Flow Z13 (2025) will cost $500 more than Asus claimed during CES 2025. Please see our ROG Flow Z13 (2025) launch article for more hardware details.
