The 2024 Philips soundbar lineup has been unveiled. The range includes three models: the flagship TAB6309, the mid-range TAB5309 and the budget TAB5109. The devices support various Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X formats, with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and a range of ports, including HDMI eARC/ARC.

TP Vision has announced three new Philips soundbars for its 2024 range: the TAB6309, the TAB5309 and the TAB5109. The models have been designed to work alongside the Philips Ambilight TVs for a cinematic audio experience, with three different price points to suit your budget.

TheTAB6309 is a 2.1 channel speaker with a maximum output of 320W, support for Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X and is accompanied by a compact wireless subwoofer. You can connect the soundbar to devices via HDMI eARC, Aux-in, optical and USB ports. Alternatively, you can wirelessly connect gadgets with Bluetooth 5.3 and LE Audio support. You can customize the speaker’s sound through the Philips Home Entertainment App for iOS and Android, with options like preset EQ modes and a Dialogue Enhancement feature. Plus, a single remote can control the speaker and a Philips TV, thanks to the Philips EasyLINK tool. The TAB6309 is also designed to sit below the Ambilight TV, with the soundbar just 37mm (~1.5-in) tall to ensure it does not block the lower part of the screen.

The mid-range TAB5309 is a 2.1-channel soundbar with a 240W output and a wireless subwoofer. Meanwhile, the TAB5109 is a 2.0 ch system with a maximum output of 120W. Both models are compatible with Dolby Digital Plus and DTS Virtual:X and relatively compact at 766 mm (~30.2-in) wide. Ports include HDMI ARC, USB, Optical and Aux-in, with the same Bluetooth 5.3 and LE Audio connectivity options. The TAB 5309 and TAB 5109 will reportedly launch in Europe this April for €129.99 and €99.99, respectively. The range-topping TAB6309 will arrive in May for €269.99. Pricing and release dates for other markets like the US have yet to be confirmed.
