Oppo launches smartphone with 8,000mAh battery, 144Hz AMOLED display and 50MP selfie camera

Oppo has introduced the F35 Pro 5G as the latest addition to its F-series smartphone lineup. It follows the earlier F33 Pro and targets the mid-range segment with a focus on display performance, battery capacity and group selfie photography.
The smartphone uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 2772 × 1272-pixel resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Oppo lists a peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits, along with adaptive refresh-rate support and 2,160Hz PWM dimming.
The device is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7360 MAX, a 4nm chipset also used in Oppo's recently launched K14 Plus. Oppo claims up to a 30% improvement in CPU multi-core performance and a 35% increase in GPU performance compared with the previous generation.
A 5,000mm² vapor-chamber cooling system is also included. The phone comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and runs ColorOS 16.
It packs an 8,000mAh battery and supports 80W SuperVOOC charging. Oppo says the battery can retain more than 80% of its original capacity after six years of use in its tests. Oppo has also used large batteries in its K-series smartphones, including the K15 Pro+, which has an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. The phone also carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for protection against dust and water.
For photography, the rear camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The main camera has an f/1.8 aperture, while the ultra-wide unit offers a 15mm equivalent focal length.
On the front, the phone features a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 100-degree field of view. The wide field of view is designed to fit more people in group selfies, while Oppo's Natural Tone processing aims to improve skin-tone reproduction.
