New Vivo phone launches with 9,000mAh battery and bright AMOLED display

Vivo has launched the Y600K Turbo in China, and it's not an entirely new phone. It shares an identical spec sheet as the non-K Y600 Turbo that was launched earlier in 2026.
For instance, it's powered by the same mid-range SoC from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. This processor offers modest performance gains over its predecessor and is good enough for daily tasks, moderate emulation loads, and light-to-medium productivity workloads.
The company notes that the SoC is paired with a large VC cooling setup, which promises "powerful" heat dissipation and should enable the Y600K Turbo to handle sustained loads. Unlike the non-K version, there's only one configuration available, and it comes with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
As for the display, it's also the same as the Y600 Turbo. Specifically, it's a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, global peak brightness rating of 2000 nits, and resolution of 2,800x1,260 pixels. Vivo highlights that it's a flat display with a 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and multiple eye-comfort tech.
Another notable highlight of the phone is the 9,000mAh battery, and according to Vivo, the runtime can reach 10 hours for continuous navigation and up to 40 hours for continuous calls. The phone has support for 90W wired fast charging, but there's no wireless charging available (Anker 100W 3-port charger curr. $59.99 on Amazon).
There's nothing fancy in the camera department, with the Vivo Y600K Turbo featuring a 50MP primary camera on the back. It's paired with a rather useless 2MP depth sensor, and on the front, the mid-range phone has an 8MP selfie shooter.
Design-wise, the Y600K Turbo has a relatively slim mid-frame, and the camera island doesn't protrude much from the back. The display has thin bezels, and Vivo is offering the phone in three colorways: Electric Blue, Millennial Pink, and Dune Gold.
Other highlights include IP68 and IP69 ratings, OriginOS based on Android 16 out of the box, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. In China, the Vivo Y600K Turbo is available for CNY 2,799 (about $417), and it's expected to launch in other regions soon.
