Google Pixel 12 series leaks with model numbers and display resolutions

Google's Pixel 11 series launched recently, and the first leaks for the Pixel 12 lineup have already surfaced. The Pixel 12, Pixel 12 Pro, Pixel 12 Pro XL and Pixel 12 Pro Fold have been listed in the GSMA IMEI database, according to OVRPlus.

The base Pixel 12 carries the model number GC0QU. The Pixel 12 Pro is listed as GWU59, the Pixel 12 Pro XL as G7U1Y and the Pixel 12 Pro Fold as G4D5D.

The same source has also disclosed display resolutions for the next Pixels. The Pixel 12 has a 1,080 x 2,400-pixel display, slightly below the 1,080 x 2,424 pixels of the Pixel 11. The Pixel 12 Pro uses a 1,280 x 2,824-pixel panel, and the Pixel 12 Pro XL uses a 1,344 x 2,952-pixel panel, both with fewer vertical pixels than their predecessors. Google has kept the same display resolutions since the Pixel 9 series, so this should point to new panels with a different aspect ratio.

The Pixel 12 Pro Fold is listed with an inner display resolution of 2,296 x 2,404 pixels, roughly 24% more pixels than the 2,076 x 2,152 pixels of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The aspect ratio stays close to square, suggesting Google is refining its current foldable design rather than moving to a wider format. The outer display resolution has not been reported.

Pricing and other specifications have not leaked. Google has not confirmed any of the details, and model numbers and specifications may differ at release.
