OnePlus announces new affordable wireless earbuds with up to 54-hour battery life

OnePlus is about to launch the Ace 6 Ultra, the company's new gaming-focused phone with flagship specs. It seems that this smartphone won't be the only new product that the brand is planning to release soon. The company has also announced a new pair of affordable wireless earbuds, the Buds Ace 3.
While not all the specs have been revealed, some core specs have been officially disclosed. Among them is the 54-hour maximum battery life, which is a major upgrade from the Buds Ace 3. To look back, the last-gen earbuds, which launched as Nord Buds 3 in the global market, have a 43-hour rating.
Of course, OnePlus didn't specify whether this promised runtime is with the ANC turned on. However, it's likely that the rating is considered with the noise cancellation turned off. Speaking of which, the brand has confirmed that the earbuds come with a 55dB noise cancellation mode, which should allow immersive listening in challenging environments.
This ANC rating gives the OnePlus Buds Ace 3 the upper hand over the upcoming Redmi Buds 8, which is rated for 50dB noise suppression. The company further highlights that there are gaming-focused features, which will allow users to better enjoy FPS games with the earbuds.
There's no word on the price yet, but these earbuds are expected to be affordable. For reference, the Buds Ace 2 have a Chinese launch price of 169, about $25. They will be available in China later in April 2026, and OnePlus will likely bring them to the global market under the Nord branding (Buds 3 Pro Jade curr. $59.99 on Amazon).
