The Buds Z2 are OnePlus' latest TWS earbuds, although they have not been available outside China to date. The OEM has revealed that this will change in mid-December 2021 with their debut in Europe. This launch is to be a social media-centric event, although the product is also intended to boost the company's Red Cable Club expansion into a new region.

Update: OnePlus has now launched the Buds Z2 at a price of US$99/€99. As teased earlier, they are exclusive to Red Cable Club members of at least "Explorer" status. It will be interesting to see how this strategy works out for sales of the TWS earbuds.

Original Article: OnePlus has confirmed that the Buds Z2 - second-gen TWS earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC) - are coming to a new market soon. Then again, the OEM has chosen the slightly unusual avenue of a debut via Instagram for these new accessories.

This event, set for 14:30 CET on December 16, 2021, and dubbed as OnePlus' "First Instanote", comes with the promise of a 5% discount on the Buds Z2 for those who tune in on the date. However, the peripherals' introduction to their new region has gotten a touch more convoluted, as they are already technically on sale.

This "early access" availability is open to members of the Red Cable Club, a sign-up service offering first-party discounts and perks that has heretofore been exclusive to the Indian market. Consumers who pick their Buds Z2 up via this channel can "get 10%", presumably off the price of these IP55-rated, stemmed wireless audio devices.
