OnePlus will bring the OnePlus Nord Buds to India on April 28. The Nord Buds looks to be a rebadge of the OnePlus Buds N scheduled to debut in China on April 21, and most major details of the TWS earbuds have now been leaked.

OnePlus has officially announced its plans to launch its first TWS earbuds under the Nord sub-brand, the OnePlus Nord Buds, on April 28 in India. Details of the Nord Buds have now been revealed ahead of launch as well.

As leaked by Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus Nords Buds will feature 12.4 mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 5.2 support, a 94ms low latency mode presumably for gaming, and Dolby Atmos support. The OnePlus Nord Buds will match the OnePlus Buds Pro's IP55 rating as well. That's not as good as the Galaxy Buds Pro Galaxy Buds 2's IPX7 but this competes in a lower price segment.

The OnePlus Nord Buds themselves are expected to come equipped with a 41 mAh battery, good for seven hours of use on a single charge. The case with its 480 mAh battery promises 30 hours of use, however. Fast charging is available.

What appears to be missing, though, is active noise cancellation. The source implies that OnePlus could market the Nord Buds' noise cancellation as "AI Noise Cancellation", which sounds a lot like fancy marketing speak for passive noise cancellation. That would be a disappointment, seeing as both the OnePlus Buds Pro and OnePlus Buds Z2 offer ANC. The OnePlus Nord Buds are expected to debut first in China on April 21 as the OnePlus Buds N. We'll keep you updated on that.
