Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds arrive for US$130 with Qualcomm aptX and Bluetooth 5.2 support
Sennheiser may not have unveiled the Momentum True Wireless 3 yet, but it has announced new sports-focused earbuds instead. Dubbed the Sport True Wireless, the earbuds come with three sets of ear tips and four sizes of fins to maximise comfort. Unsurprisingly, the earbuds come with water, sweat and dust resistance, but only IP54.
Additionally, Sennheiser equips the earbuds with 7 mm drivers and a chipset that is compatible with AAC, aptX, SBC and Bluetooth 5.2. Moreover, the earbuds are slated to last up to 9 hours between charges in their bundled charging case, which should be able to recharge them twice before it needs recharging itself. In other words, the Sport True Wireless offer up to 27 hours of playback away from a plug socket.
Moreover, the Sport True Wireless offer a Focus EQ setting, plus an Adaptable Acoustic system that allows them to sound like closed or open back earbuds. Like other Sennheiser earbuds and headphones, the Sport True Wireless supports the company's Smart Control app, where you can control EQ options, among other settings. The Sennheiser Sport True Wireless can be pre-ordered today in multiple markets and will begin shipping on May 3. For reference, the earbuds cost €130 in the Eurozone and US$130 in the US.
