OPPO "K11" loses distinctive design of predecessors in new leak
The OPPO K series is aimed at more or less the middle of the Chinese Android smartphone market, yet had started to take inspiration from the higher-end Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in their design. Unfortunately for fans of the resulting customized rear camera hump, it seems to have gone away in the latest generation.
In fact, according to what looks like a captured frame from an authentic product video posted by legendary tipster Digital Chat Station, it seems the upcoming K11 is not much more than a re-brand of the Nord CE 3 from OPPO's twin brand OnePlus.
On the other hand, the change may net the K11 a slim-bezel, flat 120Hz display driven by the Snapdragon 782G processor, a 50MP main rear camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging (although it might come with a 100W power brick in the box).
The OPPO K11 is thought to compete with rivals such as comparable Redmi Note 12-series devices and the Honor X50 in their native market soon with such specs. As for the apparently discarded camera hump style, it may yet live on in a new Realme phone or two in any case.
