NDEV Games and Com2uS Holdings released the full version of Fatal Claw on Steam on 26 August at $19.99, nine months after early access. It sits "Very Positive" lifetime, though reviews have cooled down a little since launch.

Fatal Claw left early access on 26 August 2026 — it finally hit 1.0 nine months after its November 2025 debut. Developed by NDEV Games and published by Com2uS Holdings, it comes with a 20% introductory discount, which brings it down from $24.99 to $19.99 until 9 September.

Players control Kisha, who is a cat resurrected by his ancestors into a collapsed underground kingdom where Ancients and Commoners once lived side by side. The premise is that the kingdom is now overrun by infected creatures. The goal is to find a route to the surface while rescuing survivors scattered through the ruins.

Combat basically runs on three systems. Mutated Abilities unlock traversal and attack options in standard metroidvania style. Engraved Skills are absorbed from infected enemies and timed to counter their attacks. Cabitz (a magic stone) lets players add or customize abilities. The store page also promises multiple endings. The 1.0 build adds further areas and content on top of what accumulated through early access — all of this takes Kisha's story to its conclusion.

Reception is good overall, but it has gotten softer since launch. The lifetime score is "Very Positive" at 92% of 154 reviews, while the last 30 days sit at "Mostly Positive", 79% of 34 — and the lifetime figure has eased from the 96% the game had during mid-early access. Steam's second and third most-applied tags are 'Souls-like' and 'Difficult'.

The requirements are pretty modest, even for laptop owners. Minimum asks for a Core 2 Duo E5200, 4 GB of RAM and a GeForce 9800 GTX+ — a card from 2008 — with 3 GB of storage. Recommended is also equivalent to the minimum on most systems: a Core i5, 8 GB and a GTX 560.

Like Shadow Dungeon that came out recently, Fatal Claw is Windows-only. It has 51 achievements and ten languages covering interface and subtitles only. Three bundles pair it with Afterimage, Constance and Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus.
