Steam users report missing cart, search bar, and reviews as thousands face store issues

Steam users are currently reporting an unusual issue with the platform, with some unable to find the shopping cart icon or even the search bar. This comes after a Steam maintenance period that was scheduled earlier today.
Over on Reddit, multiple users have reported that the cart icon has disappeared from their Steam accounts. Some are also missing the search bar, meaning they cannot search for games or other content on the platform. There are also reports of user reviews missing from game pages.
It's worth noting that this is not something users would normally expect even during Steam maintenance. While the platform can become slow or temporarily unavailable during maintenance, basic interface elements such as the cart and search bar don't usually disappear. On Downtector, over 3,000 user reports have surfaced in the past hour.
The issue could be caused by a temporary bug or server-side glitch, but Valve has not yet explained what is causing the problem. The company has also not provided an estimated time for when the missing features will return.
For now, there doesn't appear to be anything users can do to fix the issue themselves. If the cart or search bar is missing from your Steam account, your best option is to wait for Valve to resolve the problem.
