New Lenovo Legion Go gaming handheld officially revealed with AMD Rembrandt APU and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity
Almost a month has passed since we last had sight of future Lenovo gaming handhelds. However, Lenovo has now been caught referring to an unreleased Legion Go model on its website again.
For context, sources spotted Lenovo referencing two unreleased gaming handhelds and a re-branded 'Legion Go One' in September. Incidentally, the offending brochure for the Legion Go USB-C Dock (curr. $54.99 on Amazon) is still publicly viewable at the time of writing. This time, VideoCardz has discovered that references to the 'Legion Go S' can now be found on Lenovo's US support website.

Based on the information that we have found so far, Lenovo started adding the Legion Go S to its website earlier this month. As the screenshots below show, the references link the name Legion Go S to the model number '8ARP1', which appeared last month in a recent Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certification. In summary, we suspect that the model number could be decoded as follows:
- 8 - 8-inch display
- ARP - AMD Rembrandt APU
- 1 - First generation
VideoCardz's recent findings corroborate at least the presence of the Rembrandt architecture, which will combine an RDNA 2 GPU and Zen 3+ CPU cores as one of AMD's Zen 2 series APUs. Moreover, a document titled 'Regulatory Notice for Wireless LAN/WAN modules' effectively confirms that the Legion Go S will arrive with Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, just like the existing Legion Go. Unfortunately, it still remains unclear when Lenovo will officially reveal the Legion Go S yet, let alone the Legion Go 8AHP2 and Legion Go 8ASP2 models that also surfaced last month.
