Casio has announced that the new G-Shock GMW-BZ5000 watches will be released in more European countries. This new digital model was recently launched in Japan, and is also listed as “Coming soon” at the brand’s online store in the UK.
In recent posts on the G-Shock France and G-Shock Spain Instagram pages, the company confirmed that it would release the full metal GMW-BZ5000D-1 (silver and black, negative display), the GMW-BZ5000GD-9 (gold and black, positive display), and the GMW-BZ5000BD-1 (black and gold, negative display) watches in this market at some point in December 2025.
This suggests that these new products will be released in countries across Europe. However, Casio has yet to add listings for this new model to its online stores in these countries. As for their pricing, French retailer David et Philly suggests that the GMW-BZ5000GD-1 and GMW-BZ5000GD-9 will be priced at €649 in this region. It also points to a €599 RRP for the GMW-BZ5000D-1.
The Casio G-Shock GMW-BZ5000 Full Metal watches have stainless steel casing and straps, with the black and gold versions featuring an ion-plated finish. These are radio-controlled watches (Multiband 6), with support for Bluetooth connectivity, enabling users to access some tools like auto time adjustment through the Casio Watches app. You can choose two time zones to switch between, and the watch also offers a stopwatch, a timer and multiple daily alarms. On top of this, it is water resistant to 200 m, and Tough Solar charging extends its battery life. Whether or when the Casio G-Shock GMW-BZ5000 watches will be released in the US remains to be seen.
