New Anker smart home security sensor on the way

The eufy Glass Break Sensor E10 is set to launch in markets worldwide. As its name suggests, this smart home security gadget from Anker is designed to detect when the glass from a window or door is broken by a possible intruder.
Eufy’s Glass Break Sensor E10 is said to be able to detect glass surfaces up to 7.6 m (~25 ft) away. The company suggests that this allows the gadget to monitor a whole room. The smart device uses a neural chip combined with an AI algorithm, which is marketed as trained on common glass types for “reliable glass breakage detection”. When the sound of broken glass is detected, the sensor can trigger an alarm noise or push an alert to your phone.
The Glass Break Sensor E10 is a wireless device, with the batteries running for around three years before they need replacing. It must be paired with one of the brand’s HomeBases security hubs, like the eufy HomeBase 3 (curr. $99.98 at Amazon). It supports an up to 200 m (~650 ft) connection range, and can be remotely controlled via the brand’s app.
In EU countries like Germany, the eufy Glass Break Sensor E10 will retail for €59.99. While Anker has yet to announce a release date for this model, prospective customers can sign up with an email address to receive a launch notification on the product page. It is also expected to be released in the US for around $49.99.
