Munbyn announced the RW403B thermal label printer earlier this year. Now, the thermal label printer maker, Munbyn, has officially launched a successor, the RW405B, in the global markets. The company’s new label printer brings significant upgrades to the new model compared to its predecessor. For example, the new model now features a replaceable printhead and dual-color printing with dual-color labels, including available combinations like black-red and black-blue. The former extends the machine’s lifespan, while the latter allows users to print creative custom sticker labels.
Unfortunately, there are no upgrades in dpi resolution and the lifespan of the machine. It retains the same 203 dpi resolution and 970,000-label lifespan as its predecessor. However, it lasts six times more than other thermal printers, said the company in its press release. Dimension-wise, it’s now slightly more compact than before, measuring 4.9 x 8 x 6.49 inches (124.4 x 203.2 x 164.8 mm) and weighing around 4 lbs (1.81 kg).
Like the RW403B, users can also use a thermal label printer for printing labels, including return slips, inventory tags, stickers, branding materials, and home organization stickers. On top of that, the Munbyn print companion app allows you to tweak the gadget’s settings. Plus, the app offers 3,500+ design elements, 2,000+ templates, 80+ fonts, and OCR/voice recognition.
Inside, it has the same 4-inch DAC (Dynamic Algorithm Tech) chip as the RW403B, which auto-calibrates to eliminate label misalignment and offers people aligned labels for packages. As for connectivity, it supports both Bluetooth and USB connectivity and is compatible with Android, iOS, Windows, and Mac devices.
