Xiaomi launches Portable Photo Printer Pro globally

The Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer Pro has now appeared on Xiaomi's global website. However, it may take some time before it is locally available in certain markets where Xiaomi's products are distributed via third-party retailers rather than directly. Furthermore, customers should be aware of the consumption costs. The Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer Pro is not a zinc printer, but rather uses dye sublimation printing. This means that both paper and cartridges must be purchased separately.

According to Xiaomi, the Portable Photo Printer Pro can print 16.7 million colors and 256 grayscales at a maximum resolution of 313 DPI. The printing paper measures 50 x 76 millimeters, so it's no surprise that the prints are rather compact. The printing speed is specified as approximately one print per minute, while the printer itself can hold 10 sheets of standard photo paper and 5 sheets of photo paper stickers. As for dimensions, the printer measures 86.8 x 142.5 millimeters and 26.8 millimeters thick.

The print process is carried out via an app, allowing multiple users to connect to the Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer Pro. Personalized borders and watermarks are also supported. A battery with a capacity of 880 mAh is installed, so no power bank or power adapter is required for printing, provided the printer is charged.

The Xiaomi Portable Photo Printer Pro is currently available in the UK for £109.99 and in Europe (Germany) for 129,99€.
