Evan Blass has expanded upon speculation regarding one of Motorola's next upper mid-range smartphone releases. Officially, the company has only commented on the Moto X70 Air, which it teased would be available sometime this month. However, that launch window likely only applies to China.
With that being said, recent leaks indicate that Motorola will offer the Moto X70 Air globally as the Edge 70. Now, Blass has shared a new Edge 70-related promotional video, which we have embedded below. As expected, the video emphasises that Motorola plans to offer the device in a trio of Pantone colour options called Bronze Green, Gadget Gray and Lily Pad.
The video also implies that the Edge 70 is comparatively thin with repeated shots of its side profile. According to Blass, Motorola's next Edge-branded smartphone will drop below 6 mm in thickness, just like the iPhone Air and Galaxy S25 Edge (curr. $919.99 on Amazon). Unfortunately, hardware specifications and a release date remain unknown for now. Nonetheless, we can glean hardware like a 50 MP primary camera, a 120° FoV ultra-wide-angle camera and the inclusion of a dedicated AI button from Blass video. Please see the embedded tweet below for more details.
