Motorola officially confirmed yesterday that the Motorola Edge 70 will be unveiled on November 5. On the other hand, customers won't have to wait that long to find out the most important details about the successor to the Motorola Edge 60, as online store X-Kom has already listed the Edge 70.
While the retailer is yet to specify a price, it has revealed numerous images and details about the features. As is typical for the Edge series, Motorola is opting for a back in bright Pantone colors with a fabric texture. The square camera module will no longer be beveled; the three lenses and the LED flash will have a frame in an accent color, and the new AI button on the left side will also be in this color.
At a thickness of 6 millimeters and a weight of 170 grams, the Motorola Edge 70 is only slightly thicker and heavier than the Apple iPhone Air or the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, but also has a significantly larger 4,800 mAh battery that can be charged either via USB-C with up to 68 watts or wirelessly with 15 watts. The flat 6.67-inch P-OLED panel has a resolution of 2,712 x 1,220 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The 50 MP selfie camera is housed in a punch-hole, while the camera module on the back is said to house two 50 MP cameras with OIS, although the retailer is yet to provide any further details on these cameras. The smartphone houses the fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which, at least in one variant, is supported by 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The device comes with Android 16 and a 24-month warranty.
