Lenovo officially teases new Motorola phone with slim and lightweight design

Following the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge, Apple launched the iPhone Air, which, similar to Samsung's offering, doesn't sacrifice a lot in terms of performance for its light and thin design. These launches appear to have started a new trend in the phone industry, with Tecno introducing the Pova Slim as a budget-friendly offering with a very thin design, and now, Lenovo has joined the party.

The company has officially teased the Moto X70 Air for the Chinese market, and the newly shared teaser image showcases a very slim phone. Lenovo also describes that this thin smartphone will be "as light as Air" and will put a heavy emphasis on AI features.

As a matter of fact, the smartphone is being marketed with the tagline "Air with AI." Other than sharing the teaser photo, not much about the smartphone has been shared by the company, but it seems that the Moto X70 Air will launch in the global market as the Motorola Edge 70.

To be specific, a promotional picture of the Edge 70 has recently leaked, and the side looks very similar to what Lenovo has showcased in the new teaser picture. Of course, the two phones may not be offered in the same color options, but the internals and the overall design could be identical.

Previous leaks have also hinted that the Motorola Edge 70 will come with a flat screen, dropping the curved display found in the Edge 2025. Lenovo is expected to share more official details about its upcoming slim phone soon.
