Vivo is due to unveil the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro in China before the end of the month. As has already been established, the pair will be two of the first smartphones that leverage MediaTek's recent Dimensity 9500 chipset. For context, the other two are the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, which are officially launching in China before October is out too.
In the meantime, early influencer tests have revealed a few additional details about Vivo's forthcoming flagships. For instance, New Evaluation Technology has outlined battery and charging information ahead of time. While both capacities surpass those of the Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro and even the Vivo X200 Ultra, neither chase the recent Xiaomi 17 series. For context, Xiaomi equips its latest flagships with between 6,300 mAh and 7,500 mAh battery capacities.
By contrast, the Vivo X300 complements its Dimensity 9500 chipset with a 6,040 mAh battery that supports 90 W wired charging. Meanwhile, the Vivo X300 Pro brings a 6,510 mAh battery to the table with the same wired charging capability. Both make a mockery of Samsung's Galaxy S25 series, which tops out at 5,000 mAh for the Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,049.99 on Amazon).
Ultimately, we would recommend holding out for independent reviews before passing judgement on the battery life of Vivo's forthcoming flagships, though. For instance, the Galaxy Z Fold7 gets much closer to the Honor Magic V5 and Vivo X Fold5 in our battery tests than their respective battery capacities suggest would be possible.
