Vivo has officially launched the X300 series in China, introducing major camera upgrades and unprecedented cross-platform compatibility. Both the X300 and X300 Pro are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 SoC built on a 4 nm process, paired with the in-house Blueprint V3+ imaging chip, and run OriginOS 6 based on Android 15.
Zeiss-calibrated camera system
The Vivo X300 comes with a 200 MP Zeiss Super Main Camera coated with Zeiss T* glass, joined by a 50 MP ultra-wide and a Zeiss APO telephoto lens offering optical zoom. The X300 Pro features larger glass elements and improved night-mode processing.
On the front, both phones feature a 50 MP autofocus camera tuned for Zeiss Natural Color rendering. The Blueprint V3+ NPU enables 4K 60 FPS portrait video, motion-tracking autofocus, and Vivo’s “Zero-Additive” Natural Portrait Mode. Users can also capture short 4K video bursts as still sequences using Live Photo.
Display, performance and design
The X300 series is equipped with a 6.78-inch BOE Q10 Plus LTPO AMOLED display that supports adaptive refresh rates and TÜV-certified eye protection. The device measures 7.95 mm in thickness and weighs 190 g.
It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage of up to 1 TB. Vivo has also included an updated thermal management system designed to maintain performance during prolonged AI or gaming workloads. The phone houses a 6,040 mAh Blue Ocean battery and supports USB 3.2 connectivity.
Cross-ecosystem integration
One of the most notable announcements is Vivo’s “Cross-Device Ecosystem” (破壁生态) — a system that allows seamless interaction between the X300 series and Apple devices.
- iPhone: Call, SMS, notification and location sync
- iPad: File sharing and calendar continuity
- Mac: Clipboard and screen projection
- Apple Watch: Health and fitness data sync
- AirPods: Battery display and location tracking
The X300 series continues Vivo’s push toward cross-platform connectivity, building on the Vivo X Fold 5 — which Vivo claims supports Apple Watch features, iCloud access, and cross-device mirroring, though these functions currently only work with a China-registered Apple ID. Huawei has also offered limited interoperability through its HarmonyOS ecosystem, enabling basic pairing between wearables and file-sharing across devices.
