The Vivo X300 has just been released in China, and right after the Chinese unveiling, the Dimensity 9500 phone went live on import sites Giztop and Wondamobile. This 200 MP Zeiss camera flagship can be imported for as low as $769.

Vivo has launched the first Dimensity 9500 flagship phones, the X300 and X300 Pro. These two will also be among the first of the few Chinese flagships that are geared for photography. Right after the unveiling event in China, the non-Pro phone was listed on import sites Giztop and Wondamobile.

The 200 MP Zeiss camera flagship can be purchased for as low as $769 on Giztop and $770.68 on Wondamobile. These prices are for the variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The top-end configuration of the flagship phone, with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, is also available on both these stores, priced as low as $1,019.

While these prices are quite decent when compared to the Chinese price tags, there are some caveats. For example, the imported Vivo X300 will ship with the Chinese firmware, which will have support for different languages, but will come with some China-specific pre-installed apps. Moreover, some features that usually work on global phones, such as Android Auto, will not function on these imported devices. Another important consideration is the warranty provided by these stores, which won't be the same as the official warranty.

As for the phone itself, as we covered, it's essentially a proper replacement for the Vivo X200 Pro mini. To be specific, the X300 comes with a compact form factor with a 6.31-inch display. This LTPO AMOLED panel sports a 120 Hz variable refresh rate, a peak brightness rating of 4,500 nits, and a low brightness rating of just one nit.

This new Dimensity 9500 flagship phone has a 50 MP selfie camera on the front, and on the back, the 200 MP primary camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor size is the main highlight. This main camera is paired with a 50 MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide and a 50 MP Sony LYT-602 APO telephoto with 3x optical zoom.

Among the other highlights are a 6,040 mAh battery with 90 W fast charging (140 W Anker charger curr. $79.99 on Amazon) and 40 W wireless charging support, dual stereo speakers, an IP68/IP69 rating, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4. Check out our launch coverage to learn more about the Vivo X300.
