MediaTek has just officially announced the Dimensity 9500 as the earliest example of ARM's latest CPU and GPU architectures. So far, only Oppo and Vivo have confirmed usage of the new chipset, which is set to do battle with the Apple A19 Pro and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Elite inside the Find X9 and X300 series.
In response to today's Dimensity 9500 announcement, Oppo has confirmed that the Find X9 series will be landing in China on October 16. Not only that, but Pete Lau has informed his followers that the Find X9 series will be available globally too. A precise global release date is unknown for now though, as is whether the Find X9 series will be available in as many markets as OnePlus flagships like the OnePlus 13 (curr. $929 on Amazon).
Regardless, Oppo has finally teased the Find X9 series' design too, an example of which we have embedded above. Shown in a striking red colourway, the picture confirms that at least the Find X9 Pro has three rear-facing cameras with a periscope zoom lens. As expected, the Find X9 Pro also sports Hasselblad camera tunings, unlike the forthcoming OnePlus 15.
